At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on March 5, 2024, Vice Mayor Marino presented a proclamation declaring March 18-22, 2024 as Government Finance Professionals Week. Government finance professionals serve their organizations by managing day-to-day accounting operations, establishing financial policies and performing other important fiscal roles that improve the safety, livability and vitality of our local community. These professionals are dedicated to providing fiscal stewardship and accountability to taxpayers and elected officials by safekeeping public funds.
