Checks & Balances: Your Guide to County Finances

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act - (ARRA)
During these tough economic times Palm Beach County is working very hard to bring in much needed funding and to help create jobs. Below are grant tracking spreadsheets on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). They identify all federal stimulus funds that are available as well as a listing of the grants applied for and awarded to each county department.

These spreadsheets will be updated periodically to reflect the status of grants and funds specific county agencies have applied for and been awarded. For more detailed economic stimulus funding and grant information, please go to flarecovery.com, grants.gov and www.recovery.gov.

As we head into Hurricane Season 2009, Palm Beach County is preparing for the needs of our residents. The last three years have been kind to us, especially compared to the onslaught we faced in 2004 and 2005, but it only takes one storm to remind us of Mother Nature's fury.

If that one storm does affect us, you can be assured that Palm Beach County is ready and able to respond quickly to the needs of our residents.
