On May 18, Commissioner Marino had the distinct pleasure of presenting a proclamation to emergency medical services providers at Palm Beach County’s Emergency Operations Center, in honor of Emergency Medical Services Week, celebrated May 21-27, 2023.
The providers, which include medical directors, physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, administrators and educators devote their lives to save others in times of emergencies. They are dedicated to constantly enhancing their knowledge and skills, and their education, prevention practices and advances in the field increase the number of lives saved each year.
