FLITE Center West Palm Beach is an important resource helping homeless youths and victims of human trafficking. Palm Beach County sadly is a human trafficking hotspot.
FLITE Center provides counseling, job training, educational assistance and even safe space housing so these young women and youths are not forced to return to the streets or to individuals who are harming them.
“Funding is badly needed to obtain additional units to help these kids. Thank you Mr. Alex Ortiz and Dr. Heidi Schaeffer for the education,” said Commissioner Michael A. Barnett.
