At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Feb. 7, 2023, Commissioner Marino presented a proclamation declaring February 7, 2023 as National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in Palm Beach County. Despite progress, HIV continues to disproportionately affect Black people in the United States. A strong commitment to ending the epidemic globally means addressing health disparities.
