At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Oct. 18, 2022, Commissioner Maria G. Marino presented a proclamation declaring Nov. 8, 2022, Ride Free on Election Day in Palm Beach County. Public participation is crucial to democracy, and access to transportation can be a barrier to voting. In an effort to reduce this barrier, all Palm Tran transportation services will be free on Election Day for Palm Beach County residents.
