January 28, 2022 was a happy day for the students, staff, volunteers and supporters of the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center as they celebrated the 70th birthday of the Center's director and namesake, Edna Runner at a surprise party in her honor. The event was held at the West Jupiter Recreation Center, where, in addition to her facility on Church Street, Ms. Runner has directed classes and enriched the lives of children in the Jupiter community for many years.
Commissioner Marino was on hand to join in the dance party and presented to Ms. Runner a special gift from the Board of County Commissioners in the naming of the Youth Activities Room in her honor.
