​Commissioner Marino joined department officials and members of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches to recognize September as Library Card Sign-up Month, at a proclamation presentation held September 1 at the Gardens Branch Library.
Library Card Sign-up Month is held each September at the beginning of the school year to remind parents, children and teens that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning.
