On June 5, 2021 Commissioner Marino joined the Place of Hope at the Sailfish Marina for the wrap-up of their 5th Annual Fish for Hope KDW Tournament, a fundraiser held in celebration of the organization's 20 years of serving foster children and youth. She presented to Place of Hope Executive Director Charles Bender a proclamation from the Board of County Commissioners to mark the occasion.
