On August 29, a dedication and unveiling ceremony took place to celebrate the recently completed installation of the Limestone Creek community identity sign. The project was implemented to help beautify the street, strengthen the community identity and pride amongst residents, as well as increase countywide recognition of the oldest African-American community in Palm Beach County. The sign is more than just a physical designation of the geographical location of Limestone Creek. It is a prominent and permanent symbol of the residents' hard work and sense of pride.

This project would not have come to fruition without the dedication and perseverance of the late Cindy DeFilippo, a longtime District 1 aide who passed away following a traffic accident in June. She coordinated efforts with the Limestone Creek Community Group led by Darlene Hatcher, the Office of Community Revitalization (OCR), the Town of Jupiter, the West Jupiter Community Group, Inc., the ELS for Autism Foundation, World Class Landscaping, Cotleur & Hearing Design, and Baron Sign Manufacturing.
