Daggerwing Nature Center is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. It is located in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park at 11435 Park Access Road, off Cain Boulevard between Glades Road and Yamato Road, west of Boca Raton. For more information on Daggerwing Nature Center and other county-operated nature centers, visit www.pbcnature.com. All programs are by reservation only unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services,” click on Register/Pay for Program. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, and recreation.

ANIMAL FEEDINGS & TALKS
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:45 p.m.
Saturdays, 1 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
During feeding time, listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: FISHY FRIENDS
Tuesday, June 4, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: BUTTERFLIES
Tuesday, June 11, 3 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about butterflies! Located at the West Boca Branch Library! Call the library for details and RSVP at (561) 470-1600.

INTRO TO ARCHERY
Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety, skills, and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: DAY AT THE BEACH

FISHING FUN
Friday, June 28, 10 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of freshwater fishing! Class includes fishing pole basics, casting tips, and freshwater fish identification. All fishing supplies are provided. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toe shoes that can get wet/muddy.

RADICAL REPTILES: ALLIGATORS
Saturday, June 29, 10:30 a.m.
All ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist for a family-friendly program focusing on the amazing world of alligators. Learn about our state reptile and meet one up close and personal!
