Palm Beach County Day 2010 was one of the coldest Palm Beach County Days in recent memory. Temperatures plunged into the lower 30’s during the Palm Beach County Day Reception, but that didn’t stop legislators, sponsors and local leaders from meeting, networking and promoting Palm Beach County. The theme in 2010 was “Exploring Tomorrow, Today” and focused on “spending less while
achieving more.” This year’s event was able to do exactly that. From the quality of the food, to the Aloft hotel, to the new venues, Palm Beach County Day was able to improve the quality of our events and create a framework to achieve our lobbying goals, while at the same time, reducing the costs. |
This year’s Palm Beach County Day Reception took place underneath the Senate Portico in an effort to provide more shelter from the frigid wind. The food for the Reception was provided by Andrew’s Catering and was mouth watering. Andrew’s supplied a wonderful array of food that kept our guests warm and coming back for more. The Palm Beach County Day base hotel in 2010 was the Aloft Hotel. The Aloft provided hip, European style and comfortable rooms at a price significantly lower than PBC Day guests paid last year. The Aloft’s large lounge area accommodated our PBC Day Hospitality Suite and Breakfast wonderfully and is perfect for informal networking. We hope you enjoyed PBC Day, and are able to enjoy achieving more while spending less in your business this year.
