| FAMILY SKATE NIGHTS |
Ages: 14 and under

Program: September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12
Time: 6:00–9:00 pm

Fee: Free
Skate the night away with Family Night for parents and kids up to 14 years old. This is a night once a month for families to enjoy an evening of skating, demonstrations, music, food, and fun for everyone! Every second Friday of the month is Family Skate Night! Helmets are required with stickers visible. Stickers may be obtained at the Recreation Center office prior to Skate Night. |
| GROUND HOG DAY CELEBRATION |
Ages: 5 & under
Day: Monday
Program Date: February 2
Time: 9:00–10:30 am
Registration: Pay at event
Fee: $3 per child
Parents, enjoy a picture perfect moment with your little ones. A petting zoo, a silly DJ, and other fun activities are planned for the event. Gather around the “Big tree stump” at 10:00 am to see if spring is on the way when our own Ground Hog “Shadow” makes his appearance. Parents bring your camera! |
| PBC KIDS BASS FISHING TRAIL |

Fee: Free
Bring your rod, reel, and the love of fishing. Prizes awarded to top anglers. An adult must accompany each participant. Contact Westgate Recreation Center at (561) 694-5455 to register. |
| MLB PITCH, HIT, & RUN |
Ages: 7–14
Day: Wednesday
Program Date: April 15
Time: 6:00–9:00 pm
Registration: March 23–April 11
Fee: Free
The Pitch, Hit, and Run contest provides children ages 7-14 the opportunity to display the three key fundamentals of baseball; pitching, hitting, and running. Through partnerships with NRPA and Pepsi, this contest allows children the opportunity to advance in the competition and possibly win a trip to the 2009 All-Star Game. |
| FAMILY SPRING FEST |

Program Date: April 18
Time: 10:00 am–1:00 pm
Registration: Pay at event
Fee: $5 per family
We have added a Spring skate event, so grab your board or skates and join us for a day of fun. Get a temporary tattoo, take a trip down the giant slide, or relax with tunes from our DJ. The whole family will enjoy this event. Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians. |
