FOOD SERVICE/VENDING
There is no food service, vending, or commercial sales of any kind available in the park. Visitors are advised to bring to the island whatever food and beverages they require for their visit. For your comfort and convenience, water fountains are available at each of our three (3) restrooms.
LOST and FOUND
Personal property lost or abandoned in the park will be turned in to the office for temporary storage. Wherever possible, every effort will be made to identify and contact owners. Items not claimed in thirty (30) days will be disposed of as trash or donated to an appropriate community service agency.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITES
It is prohibited to solicit, advertise, or conduct commercial business on or from park property unless previously authorized in writing by the County.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
All plants and animals, including marine organisms, are protected within the park.
FEEDING ANIMALS
Feeding animals alters their natural behavior and ability to survive in the wild. Feeding any animals within the park is strictly prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Department Director.
PETS
Domesticated animals are welcome in designated areas. For your safety and consideration of others, please keep all pets on a leash at all times at a distance not greater than six (6) feet from their handler, pick up their droppings, and provide for their comfort with shade and water.
PET WASTE
Handlers are required to clean up and properly dispose of any waste produced by their animals.
PEDESTRIAN PATHWAYS
Rollerblades, skates, skateboards, bikes, scooters, or motorized vehicles are not permitted on the island.
NOISE
No person shall make such loud, excessive, unnecessary noise so as to create a nuisance. Noise is considered a nuisance where it produces actual physical discomfort or annoyance to persons of ordinary sensibilities.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol is permitted in all areas of the Park except Guarded Beaches and the Snorkeling Lagoon. For the safety of all visitors, please help us avoid broken glass by properly disposing of glass containers in trash cans.
EMERGENCY CONTACT
Park Rangers and Palm Beach County Sheriff staff are frequently stationed in the park for the protection and safety of visitors. In the event of a medical emergency or other serious enforcement or safety related situation, please contact these individuals or call 911.
