Our cheerleading module offers interactive sessions for boys and girls. All sessions are brought to you by our professional staff members who are also members of Dance Educators of America and certified members of USA Gymnastics. Your participants will have a great time learning cheers, jumps, stunts and dance routines, while developing their gross motor skills and having fun at the same time. We will create a cheerleading team for your school if you would like!

Description:
Students will be taught the basic skills of basketball to help become well rounded players. They will learn proper technique for passing, shooting, dribbling and defense.  Drills will be incorporated to provide fundamentals that will be fun and educational. Students will be taught and encouraged to use critical thinking skills during drills and activities. Basketball is a team sport. We will share the importance of team work and how it relates to being successful both on and off the court.

Ready, Set, Let’s Play! Soft Tennis originated in Asia in the 1870’s and has become the choice version of tennis for about 40% of players in Japan. Soft tennis is a slower, more strategic version of the game. Soft Tennis emphasizes longer rallies and a more exciting performance that is accessible to every age and ability level right from the very first serve much like badminton and table tennis. A game that can be played not only on traditional courts but on almost any flat surface indoors or out, in this introductory class students will learn all the basic skills and simple strategy to play the game. Age appropriate equipment and court size will be used to enable them to play almost immediately.

Students will learn the FUNdamentals of the NEW format - Quickstart tennis through fun games and activities on the court. Then, they will practice what they’ve learned through match play. Courts, racquets and balls are adapted to fit the age/skill level of the students. Thirty minutes of lessons and thirty minutes of match play each session. Students will progress from learning how to hit a ball to learning how to play a match. Designed to get your students out on the courts and playing by the end of the first class! No equipment is needed, we’ll bring it all.

This Special Event is open to all students and packed with fun, games and activities designed to attract and expose students of all ages to the lifetime sport of tennis. Students will participate in games such as: Tic-Tac-Toe, Hit with the Pro, Rally & Play, Hit for Prizes, Tennis Tag, Volleyball Tennis and more! Students will rotate through a number of stations set up with a variety of tennis games and activities. EVERY student leaves a winner with a PRIZE!

Launched at the ESPN Sports Weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in March 2008, Quickstart Tennis is an exciting new play format for learning tennis. It is designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size. No more standing around and waiting in lines. With Quickstart Tennis, once they’re on the court, they’re in the game-learning while playing. And just like other popular youth sports, Quickstart stresses the importance of play and team competition. It is also now a part of the USTA Jr. Team Tennis league and can be part of your exciting programs as well.
