Daggerwing Doings

 

Reservations are required for ALL programs (unless otherwise noted). Please call if you are not able to attend the program to allow those on the waiting list to attend. Participants/guardians are required to sign a Program Participation Form upon arrival to the program. Program fees are due upon arrival to the program.

CHILDREN’S NATURE SERIES

Parents, bring your little ones to experience exciting nature topics! Programs may include activities such as: stories, puppets, games, role play, nature walks, and crafts.

     Ages 3-6, Tuesday, January 6 at 2:30 pm
    Ages 3-6, Tuesday, January 13 at 2:30 pm
    $4 per participant - Reservations required

  • SPIDERS
     Ages 3-6, Tuesday, January 20 at 2:30 pm
    Ages 3-6, Tuesday, January 27 at 2:30 pm
    $4 per participant - Reservations required

  • BEARS
     Ages 3-6, Tuesday, February 3 at 2:30 pm
    Ages 3-6, Tuesday, February 10 at 2:30 pm
    $4 per participant - Reservations required

  • RAINFORESTS
     Ages 3-6, Tuesday, February 17 at 2:30 pm
    Ages 3-6, Tuesday, February 24 at 2:30 pm
    $4 per participant - Reservations required

ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS

Bring the whole family and join us as we take an up-close and personal look at some of our LIVE educational animals. Programs include live animals, artifacts and pictures all to learn about the animal’s natural history and how we can help their wild relatives!

    Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 pm
    Families and all ages, $3 per person - Reservations required

  • BIRDS

  • TURTLES
    Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 pm
    Families and all ages, $3 per person - Reservations required

NIGHT HIKES

What comes out at night? Join us for a walk through our wetlands and see some special adaptations of nocturnal animals. You are sure to see an owl! Bring bug spray and a flashlight.

STORY TIME

Join us as we go on adventures through stories, both fiction and non-fiction, about animals and nature!    

Children, $2 per child – No reservations needed

  • Sunday, February 1, 2:00-2:30 pm

ORIGAMI

Join volunteers Jerry and Marilyn Lambert as they teach the ancient art of paper-folding.

Ages 7 and older, FREE - No reservations needed

  • Friday, January 16, 3:00-4:00 pm

  • Friday, February 20, 3:00-4:00 pm
