Commissioner Kanjian Visits The Palm Beach Habilitation Center

Commissioner Bob Kanjian recently visited the Palm Beach Habilitation Center located at South Congress Avenue and Sixth Avenue South in suburban Lake Worth.  The Center was started in 1959 and has grown to serve more than 700 mentally, emotionally and physically disabled men and women each year. At the Center, which encompasses 13 acres, clients receive vocational evaluation and supervised work experience and training in order to prepare them for employment. Additionally, there are more than 200 work sites located in community businesses throughout Palm Beach County.
