A media briefing is scheduled for today, August 18 at 6 p.m. at the Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center, 20 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.

The news conference will include updates on closings, shelters and transportation.

Immediately following the initial briefing, the information will be repeated in Spanish and Creole. Local broadcast stations are urged to carry the translated briefings for the benefit of our non-English-speaking residents.

The media briefing will be aired live on PBC-TV Channel 20 and will be available via live stream on www.pbcgov.com.
