I would like to take this time to thank you for your interest in PBCFR's
Explorer Post! Our mission is to provide a way for young adults of Palm Beach
County to learn and shadow Professional Firefighters while they perform their
duties on the job.
About the Post
- The Explorers are part of the Boys Scouts of America.
- It is for youths (male and female) ages 15-20 years of age or 14 and in the 9th grade.
- Learn CPR/First Aid.
- Train for Firematics competitions.
- Team building and self building.
Becoming a Member
We only invite prospective newcomers twice a year. If you would like us to contact you when the time comes, please click here to complete an interest letter.- 2.0 GPA.
- Good ethics and moral standards.
- Adhere to PBCFR rules and regulations.
