Special Sport League Announcements and Information
 

UNIFORM NUMBERS: Participants in ALL Palm Beach County sponsored adult athletic leagues must wear a number on their jersey which is plainly visible to the athletic official(s) or a score keeper. Players who arrive at the park without a number on their jersey will not be allowed to play. A magic marker will be available at each park site where PBC sponsored leagues are operated. If you have any questions or concerns please see the League Director or the Athletic Section staff on duty.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY: All players must sign the roster and show their driver's license before participating in games.

BATS: The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department Athletic Section now operates as an ASA sanctioned adult softball program. As stated in the Palm Beach County Program Guide Supplemental Rules, USSSA bats listed on the USSSA web site are approved for Palm Beach County league play until the Fall season of 2009. Any player having a question regarding the eligibility of a particular bat for league play can go to the USSSA.com web site. Only bats listed on the USSSA web site are approved for Palm Beach County sponsored leagues. If your bat is not on the approved list it cannot be used.
