Countywide Community Revitalization Team To Hold Public Meeting May 21

Body

The Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) invites you to the upcoming Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) meeting on Tuesday, May 21 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Vista Center Hearing Room 1E-60, 2300 N Jog Rd., West Palm Beach, and can be accessed virtually or via conference call if needed.

This month, Bambi Fanto, Coordinator with the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County, will be our guest speaker presenting on the topic of the “ABCDs of Water Safety.”

Established in 1996, the Drowning Prevention Coalition (DPC) aims to mitigate drowning, near-drowning, and other water-related incidents through public education on water safety and basic rescue techniques.

As the primary resource for water safety in Palm Beach County, the DPC is dedicated to expanding the reach of water safety education through various services offered to residents and visitors. These services include, but are not limited to, educational programs, provision of free-swimming lessons to eligible families, and assistance in connecting groups and individuals with special needs to swimming lessons in the area.

This public meeting is a great opportunity for neighborhood residents to network with county agencies, OCR partners, and other community leaders who are making a difference in Palm Beach County neighborhoods. Unite with us to empower our community and honor impactful individuals.
