At the June 7, 2022 Board of County Commissioners meeting,
the board took the following action:
Administration – approved a resolution supporting the
construction of honorary designation markers on a portion of State Road
715/Bacom Point Road between W. Morgan Road and S.W. 14th in honor of fallen
Deputy Sheriffs Donta Manuel and Jonathan Wallace.
Adopted the 2022 Federal Legislative Agenda.
Received and filed the updated Board Directive Reports,
which include in process and completed board directive items.
Airports – approved the General Consulting Agreement
with AECOM Technical Services Inc. for consulting/professional services in the
amount of $1,727,453.97 for the continued performance of professional planning
and design services related to the approved Airports Capital Improvement
Program.
Approved the General Consulting Agreement with HDR
Engineering, Inc. for consulting/professional services in the amount of
$541,180.72, and to exercise the second one-year renewal option for the
continued performance of professional planning and design services related to
the approved Airports Capital Improvement Program.
Facilities Development & Operations – approved
the final April 2022 report of the Judicial Facilities Master Plan update; and
approved consultant services authorization to the design contract with Leo A.
Daly Company in the amount of $2,026,992 to provide professional architectural
and engineering design and construction administration services for the Main
County Courthouse buildout and renovations project.
Resilience – postponed, by a 5-0 vote, the
preliminary reading and advertisement for a public hearing amending Palm Beach
County Code, Chapter 17, Article XVII, (Ordinance 2017-012), section 17-504
through section 17507, regarding the Property Assessed Clean Energy Program
(PACE).
